Almost everything you read about making cash online tells you that building a mailing list is the very first thing you have to do. There are a few misconceptions about advertising that you need to understand to keep them from being obstacles to your profits and the biggest one might be that most people don?t use email. If you don?t have an email address, you are an individual who doesn?t have a home online, as much as if you don?t have a regular mail address. One thing you have to remember when building your e-mail list is that you actually should use the double opt in feature simply because this is going to prevent you from being accused of spam because these people will need to verify that they have joined your list before you e-mail them. You should also be aware that there is a law right now that states that every e-mail you send to somebody that is on a list must have a unsubscribe feature attached.
To continue, we?ll take at look at Binary Options Bully. Building an opt-in email list is most likely the most important thing you can do to build your internet business, but it will not necessarily be easy. Men and women don?t give out their email addresses easily, so you?ll need to provide something which they really want in order to get their email. What you?re offering them should be close to what you are trying to sell or they may not be too happy when they?re on your list for one thing, but you?re trying to sell them something unrelated. The ultimate purpose of your list is to have customers who will purchase from you, so those are the type of men and women you want on your list. Another thing I should point out is you should never try and sell the individuals who signed up to your list a product in the very first e-mail you send them, before marketing and advertising products ensure you are providing them with valuable information. You can discover a lot of little methods and tricks you can use to get men and women to present you with their e-mail address you can simply take a look at other internet sites or search for options in one of the major search engines.
One thing to keep in mind about having a list is you can actually market any product to them anytime you want in order to make cash. Providing you keep giving them what they want, you will most likely keep them on your list, if not, they?re going to either unsubscribe or just quit reading your emails.
If someone has gluten allergy, they must be very careful in selecting his / her food. Foods which include wheat, barley, and rye some of the foods that must definitely be avoided to get rid or avoid the irritating gluten allergy symptoms, which aren?t just limited to itchy eyes as well as drippy nose area. There are numerous gluten allergy symptoms that can be a lot worse compared to ones stated above, specifically when it comes to adults.
Gluten allergy symptoms in adults can also be quite misleading considering that adults will likely not be aware that they?re already experiencing the symptoms unless of course they are recognized by the medical professional. Some are not noticed in physical form and you will only know it as soon as it reaches the more serious point.
Unfortunately, gluten allergy symptoms are hard to avoid particularly simply because that gluten is nearly found in every single foodstuff that people eat every single day. If the person is not extra picky relating to their food, chances of experiencing the annoying gluten allergy symptoms will always be there. The experts can?t provide exact answer why quite a few people cannot put up with the gluten component in food. And what?s even more alarming in regards to this, tends to be that gluten allergy symptoms may not be cured nor treated by any available remedy. Signifying, all we can easily do in order to prevent the gluten allergy symptoms should be to avoid foods high in gluten. Some foods that has to be ignored are wheat or grain, barley, rye, bread, noodles, pastries, cereal products, oatmeal, some soups, some sauces, and a lot baked goods that is made up of bread.
Self discipline also need to be exercised for anyone who is clinically diagnosed to possess gluten allergy. Avoiding foods that are tasty is actually a hard task, but when anyone with gluten allergy will be unable to resist these kinds of foods, the person is going to be struggling with the gluten allergy symptoms constantly, which can constantly lead to a worse scenario.
Some of the gluten allergy symptoms could include troubles in breathing and tightening of your chest. If someone else with asthma encounters all these gluten allergy symptoms, the individual might be needed to be taken to the nearest emergency, so as not to alleviate the situation. This is simply an example that will reveal that gluten allergy symptoms can also be really dangerous for your health and wellbeing if you are not that cautious enough.
Regular examination to the doctor is likewise essential for people with gluten allergy. Addressing your qualified doctor will allow you to fully grasp and keep good nutrition for the problem, and of course to examine your body if you is likely to be severely suffering from a gluten allergy symptom without having you even being aware of it at all. Keep in mind, usually there are some gluten allergy symptoms that can?t be observed nor discovered by the person who may be experiencing it. A professional doctor can conclude the gluten allergy symptoms and suggest the suitable strategies to avoid it.
The best way to determine gluten allergy symptoms in adults by checking up on your doctor regularly.

ScienceDaily (Aug. 16, 2012) ? Using advanced computer simulations, University of Utah College of Pharmacy researchers have produced moving images of a protein complex that is an important target for anti-cancer drugs. This advancement has significant implications for discovering new therapies that could attack cancer without damaging the DNA of healthy cells, according to an article published July 31, 2012 in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
The researchers used high-performance computing technology to demonstrate that a protein complex called LSD1/CoREST undergoes major changes in shape, which are regulated by binding to a DNA-packaging protein known as histone H3. LSD1 gene expression is increased in many cancers and insight into the changes in the LSD1/CoREST complex may help to accelerate development of epigenetic drugs that reprogram cancer cells to behave more normally.
Epigenetics is the study of changes in gene expression that are not caused by alterations in the DNA itself. Instead, these changes are caused by chemical modifications that switch parts of the genome on and off to regulate gene activity. These chemical modifications occur within the epigenome, a layer of chemical labels that covers the genome, and help to determine whether specific genes are active or inactive. Epigenetic drug discovery is based on the knowledge that the epigenome is flexible and could potentially be altered by therapeutic drugs.
Lysine-specific demethylase-1 (LSD1)/CoREST is a protein complex involved in epigenetic changes. Recent studies have shown that LSD1-CoREST is a binding partner for various proteins involved in regulating genes and modifying chromatin, the combination of DNA and DNA-packaging proteins called histones that make up the nucleus of a cell. Previous research also revealed that LSD1-CoREST binds to histone H3.
"In our earlier work, we discovered that LSD1/CoREST functions as a tiny clamp that can reversibly open and close to adjust the size of its binding partners," says Riccardo Baron, Ph.D., assistant professor of medicinal chemistry at the University of Utah and lead author on the study. "The goal of this study was to learn more about the conformational changes that occur when LSD1/CoREST binds to H3."
Baron and Nadeem A. Vellore, Ph.D., postdoctoral researcher in the Baron lab, performed molecular dynamics computer simulation on existing x-ray crystal structures of LSD1/CoREST, effectively transforming a static photo of the protein complex into a molecular movie. They discovered that, in an unbound state, the arms of the LSD1/CoREST clamp exhibit remarkable rotation, shifting back and forth among open or closed configurations. They also found that binding to H3 reduces the overall flexibility of the clamp and triggers a major loss of rotation. These dynamic changes in shape help to explain the ability of LSD1/CoREST to bind to such a wide variety of partners and may also be relevant to how LSD1/CoREST performs chromatin remodeling.
Epigenetics is an active topic in cancer research because an epigenetic mechanism known as DNA or histone methylation is commonly disrupted in cancer cells. In cancer, methylation turns off critical genes, and previous research has suggested that the use of drugs to inhibit the alteration mechanism may lead to re-expression of the affected genes. Unlike traditional chemotherapy drugs, epigenetic drugs would not affect the DNA of healthy cells. This makes epigenetic drug discovery extremely promising for reducing the side effects of chemotherapy.
"Epigenetic drug discovery hinges upon identifying the right protein targets and drug molecules, which is challenging because both are highly dynamic," says Vellore. "It would be extremely difficult to hit a dynamic target using only a static photo. Increasing our understanding of the molecular dynamics of LSD1 has allowed us to screen large compound libraries effectively and to identify the molecules that are most likely to inhibit epigenetic targets."
This research is currently fueling international collaborations with leading experimentalists in enzymology and epigenetics, including the group of Andrea Mattevi at the University of Pavia in Italy.
In the past decades, computing power has steadily risen, increasing by more than one order of magnitude every six years or less. High performance computing using graphic processing units and special-purpose hardware is currently pushing scientific boundaries even further. By taking advantage of such technological advancements, the development and application of chemical theory and computational approaches are becoming increasingly relevant for addressing important biomedical problems.
"My group's long-term goal is to significantly advance the use of computer chemistry in pharmacological applications," says Baron. "I believe in the extremely fascinating idea that physics-based approaches and computers can drive the discovery of new molecules and their practical use."

Together with a healthy diet and consuming more of fruits, vegetables and meat and dairy foods that are low in saturated and trans fat would help you to lose weight and keep it off longer. Be sure to talk to your doctor before you would like to start any weight loss program.
Here are some common sense approaches that might help you to lose weight:
1. Don?t skip your breakfast
Skipping meals will only cause you to eat more in the next meal. After a long period of hunger, your stomach triggers the brain to release more chemicals that ask you to eat more (more than 2 meals combine) in the next meal.
2. Follow the BMI index
According to the National Institution of Health, the definition of healthy weight is a BMI of 24 or less. Men and Women with a BMI of 25-30 are considered to be overweight. BMI is reliable for people from 19-70 years of age. Study reveals that for people over 64 years of age, the risk of dying from heart disease does not go up with a BMI between 25-27. A BMI over 28 seems to increase risk of heart disease.
3. Slowly and Surely
Change your lifestyle habits slowly. Each day replace some of the saturated and trans fat foods
with healthier foods.
Start Exercising gradually. Walk 10 minutes a day for a few days then 15 minutes, 30 minutes. Keep going until you work your way up to doing a supervised exercise program. Be happy if you lose 2 to 3 Lbs a week.
4. Stay Moderately active
Sitting in front of the computer or television all day will increase the risk of arthritis, type II diabetes, obesity, heart diseases, and depression.
5. Shopping parking
Parking your car at the far end of the parking lot will help you to burn more calories. If you calculate the calories which you burn from all the trips that you take such as mall shopping, grocery shopping, working, picking up the kid from school, you will be surprised. Each mile will burn somewhere around 125 calories.
6. Moderate intake of alcohol
Moderate drinking of alcohol beverages containing no fat, no cholesterol, and very little sodium and is often associated with weight loss in women. Moderate consumption of alcohol is associated with better health and longer life. Drinking a cup of red wine for women and two cups for men daily will help increase blood circulation and decrease risk of heart attack.
7. Study shows that eating chicken soup with rice and drinking water together before meal will help to curb your appetite.
VI. How to Lose Weight with Mediterranean diet
As we mentioned in the other articles, for a healthy person weight loss is simple: burn more calories than you consume. The healthiest weight is determine by height to weight ratio or Body Mass Index (BMI) and the amount of fat in your body. Unfortunately over 60% of the North American population is considered to be overweight, according to the BMI index. There must be something wrong with our diet. In faraway places such as Southern Italy and Greek, most people live longer than us because their diet contains lots of fruits and vegetables. The People in Southern Italy and Greek only eat fish and poultry a few times a week and meat a few times a month. Their diet is high in carbohydrates and only containing 8% of saturated fat.
You can find some very good traditional Greek foods in you local restaurants.
Here are some meals that I found very different than our diet:
1. Savor souvlaki
Also known as shish kebob, it contains a large amount of vegetables and a small amount of meat. This is a meal with an average of about 300 calories and only 10 grams of fat with 1/5 of fat being saturated.
2. Pita Bread sandwich
Pita bread sandwich includes hefty raw vegetable, some meat, feta cheese and cucumber sauce. It contains roughly 800 calories with 45 grams of total fat and half of that are saturated.
Unfortunately, under the influence of western diet, some of the meals that we found is no longer really Greek foods. They are high in meat and saturated fat, therefore please do not assume that all Greek restaurant are original Mediterranean diet.
Here are 2 recipes of original Mediterranean diet that not only helps you to lose weight but also reduces your high blood pressure and bad cholesterol level in result of lowering risk of heart diseases and strokes.
1.Sauce of yoghurt with dill ( Sources from Ellaia)
* Sauce of yoghurt with dill
* 300 gm. yoghurt with low water content
* 1 spoonful dry dill
* 1 clove garlic, salt, pepper
* 2 spoonfuls olive oil ELLAIA
* 1 spoonful lemon juice.
* We pulp the garlic in a mortar with little salt.
In a deep bowl we strike yogurt with garlic, the dill and the pepper and we continue with the olive oil and the lemon until they are mixed well. We maintain the mixture in the refrigerator. Accompanies vegetables and green salad.
2. Meat with plums ( Sources from Ellaia)
* 1,5 kg meat (pork, lamb, beef or even chicken)

We leave the meat to be marinated for 2-3 hours and meanwhile we wet the plums in water in order to absorb water and also the almonds in order to be peeled easily. We put the olive oil in a saucepan and saut? the meat. We douse with the marinade liquid, we add 1-2 glasses hot water and we boil the meat in low temperature, until it gets soft. We put inside also the plums, the almonds and the honey or the sugar and we leave them to boil for a few minutes.
Finally we will provide you with a Mediterranean diet food list. It contains cheese, eggs, fish and sea food, fruits, grains, legumes, nuts, olive oil, red wine, vegetables and yogurt.
On the top of the pyramid contains meat, poultry and on the lower broader base, there are dairy products, oils, fruits and vegetables.
VII. How to Lose Weight With Fiber
Fiber is the portion of plant material that humans are not able to digest. There are two kinds of dietary fiber, soluble and insoluble. Both are important for proper bowel function. Soluble fiber dissolves in water, forming a gel in the intestines. Insoluble fiber passes through the digestive system almost intact, adding bulk to the stool and acting as a sponge to absorb water. If you have gone through all kinds of diet plans or programs such as diet pills and supplements, and despite all your efforts you can?t seem to lose weight, then you might be not eating enough fiber.
Study shows that people eat as much as 60% of fiber everyday, 85% are in ideal weight. In the US they only average about 15% of fiber being consumed per person, this may be the the cause of obesity of 60% of adults.
Here are some foods that are high in fiber:
1. Dried Bean
Dried bean is high in fiber and contains proteins. Fiber-rich dried beans like some other complex carbohydrates make you more likely to feel full sooner. Therefore, it is an ideal food for weight loss. Also a diet high in fiber can reduce the risk of colon cancer, as well as cholesterol levels that we know may cause heart diseases.
2. Acai Berry
Acai Berry is filled with vitamins and minerals that can aid in weight loss, building muscle and increasing overall energy. Acai berry helps to increase your calorie consumption rate such as burning more calories doing the regular chores and exercises. This increased metabolism rate leads to substantial weight loss.
3. Whole Grain Products
Whole grain cereals are very nutritional as they are a good source of vitamins, phytochemicals, and minerals that are needed in your day-to-day life. Whole grain products generally take a longer time to digest, and thus gives a feeling of fullness that discourages a person under a weight loss program from overeating. This is how it basically helps in weight loss.
4. Broccoli
Broccoli not only has low calories, but is also inexpensive. Broccoli is one of the tastiest and healthiest vegetables, and it?s readily available year-round. Broccoli helps you lose weight because they are high in fiber and water, so you get a lot of food for a few calories.
5. Celery
Celery has a high concentration of calcium that ignites your endocrine system. The hormones help to break up the accumulation of fat build up, resulting in weight loss.
6. Spinach
Spinach is a dart green, negative calories vegetable. It is an excellent source of powerful disease fighting antioxidants and a good source of iron, vitamins and minerals. Spinach is loaded with fiber and one cup of steamed spinach has only 42 calories.
7. Nuts and Seeds
Nuts and seeds are high in protein, nutrients and fiber. It contains lots of Omega fatty acids which means nuts and seeds can get you to feel more full and keep you from overeating in result of weight loss.
All of the above are the foods we eat daily, and contain high amounts of fiber that help to improve bowel function and transition time as well as weight loss.
VIII. Negative Calorie Foods
These foods causes you to lose weight because they contains such a small amount of calories that it takes more calories to digest them, then the food itself contains. An example would be a food that contains 25 calories, but takes 50 calories for you body to break down and digest.
Celery
First if you?ve ever eaten celery you know it takes some work to chew, and with 1 stalk containing just 5 calories the chewing alone will probably burn more calories then the celery contains
Ice Water
Ice water is significantly cooler than your normal body temperature so drinking ice water instead of regular tap water will cause your body to burn extra calories in order to bring its temperature back to normal.
Tangerines
A medium sized tangerine is a sparse 37 calories.
Kumquat fruit
Each kumquat fruit is 13 calories
Lettuce
Iceberg lettuce is just 6 calories per 1 cup serving.
Romaine lettuce is 10 calories per 1 cup serving.
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) ? Seven American troops and four Afghans died in a Black Hawk helicopter crash on Thursday in southern Afghanistan, the NATO military coalition said. The Taliban claimed their fighters shot down the aircraft.
The crash marked another deadly day for the U.S. in Afghanistan, less than a week after six American service members were gunned down, apparently by two members of the Afghan security forces they were training to take over the fight against the insurgency as international combat troops prepare to exit the country by the end of 2014.
The spike in American deaths and attacks by Afghan allies have stirred fresh doubts about the prospects for the U.S. plan to leave a capable Afghan government in place when most troops depart after more than a decade of war.
Spokesman Brig. Gen Gunter Katz said the NATO coalition is investigating the cause of Thursday's crash in Kandahar province, though U.S. officials said initial reports indicated it was not shot down.
Kandahar is a traditional Taliban stronghold and the spiritual birthplace of the hardline Islamist movement that ruled Afghanistan before being ousted in 2001 by the U.S.-led alliance for sheltering al-Qaida's terrorist leaders.
Among the dead were seven American service members, three members of Afghan security forces and one Afghan civilian interpreter, said Jamie Graybeal, a spokesman for the coalition. He said there were no survivors of the crash. He declined to give any details on the mission of the helicopter, a UH-60 Black Hawk.
U.S. officials said three of the seven American troops killed were special operations forces ? two Navy SEALS and a Navy explosives expert. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose the information.
Taliban spokesman Qari Yousef Ahmadi said insurgent fighters shot down the helicopter in Kandahar province on Thursday morning.
"Nobody survived this," Ahmadi told The Associated Press by phone.
The helicopter was shot down in Kandahar's Shah Wali Kot district, which lies in the northern part of the province, said Ahmad Jawed Faisal, a spokesman for the provincial government said. He declined to give further details.
However, U.S. officials said initial indications are that it was not shot down, though an investigation has been opened. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity the investigation is ongoing.
White House spokesman Jay Carney said it was too early to determine the cause of the crash.
"Based on my information, at this time the cause of that crash is still under investigation," Carney said. "Of course our thoughts and prayers are with those American and Afghan families who lost loved ones in that incident."
The area where the helicopter went down ? a stretch of Kandahar along the border with Uruzgan province ? is seen as a Taliban stronghold and key transit route. The insurgents regularly attack police checkpoints around the rural villages of the district and plant bombs in the road to catch passing government vehicles.
The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is a medium-lift helicopter that has served as the U.S. Army's workhorse since the 1980s.
The U.S.-led NATO force in Afghanistan has relied heavily on utility helicopters such as the Black Hawk to ferry troops, dignitaries and supplies around the mountainous terrain, thus avoiding the threat of ambushes and roadside bombs.
Thursday's crash is the deadliest since a Turkish helicopter crashed into a house near the Afghan capital, Kabul, on March 16, killing 12 Turkish soldiers on board and four Afghan civilians on the ground, officials said.
In August last year, insurgents shot down a Chinook helicopter, killing 30 American troops, mostly elite Navy SEALs, in Afghanistan's central Wardak province.
At least 221 American service members have been killed in Afghanistan so far this year.

ScienceDaily (Aug. 16, 2012) ? Specialised group yoga classes could provide a cost-effective way of treating patients with chronic or recurrent low back pain, according to the UK's largest ever study of the benefits of yoga.
Led by the University of York, and funded by Arthritis Research UK, the study provides an evaluation of a specially-developed 12-week group yoga intervention programme compared to conventional general practitioner (GP) care alone.
The results published in Spine, show that the yoga intervention programme -- 'Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs' -- is likely to be cost effective for both the UK National Health Service (NHS) and wider society.
The cost assumed for yoga intervention is important in determining whether this is an efficient use of NHS resources. As yoga classes are not currently available through the NHS, the researchers examined a range of possible costs. They conclude that if the NHS was to offer specialist yoga and managed to maintain the cost below ?300 per patient (for a cycle of 12 classes), there is a high probability (around 70 per cent) of the yoga intervention being cost effective.
Researchers also found that those taking part in the yoga programme had far fewer days off work than those in the control group. On average, a control group participant reported 12 days off due to back pain, whereas those in the yoga group had four days off. The cost associated with taking time off was ?1,202 for a control group member, compared with ?374 for a yoga group member.
The study was carried out by researchers from the University of York's Department of Health Sciences and the Centre for Health Economics, and the Hull York Medical School.
Chief Investigator Professor David Torgerson, Director of York Trials Unit, in the University of York's Department of Health Sciences, said: "Back pain represents a significant burden to the NHS in the UK and to society as a whole. As well as the associated health care costs, it is also a major cause of work absenteeism which leads to a productivity loss to society.
"While yoga has been shown as an effective intervention for treating chronic and low back pain, until now there has been little evidence on its cost effectiveness. In our study we evaluated a specially-designed yoga class package by using individual-level data from a multi-centred randomized controlled trial. On the basis of the 12-month trial, we conclude that 12 weekly group classes of specialised yoga are likely to provide a cost-effective intervention for the treatment of patients with chronic or recurrent low back pain."
Back pain is estimated to cost the NHS ?1.37 billion and the health care sector ?2.10 billion a year. It is also one of the most common conditions treated in primary care in the UK with about 2.6 million people seeking advice from their GP about back pain each year.
Professor Alan Silman, Medical Director of Arthritis Research UK, said: "We welcome the fact that not only has yoga been found to help people manage their back pain, but that it is also cost effective, and results in fewer sick days. It is another option for people who are struggling to manage their condition, and one that encourages the move to self-management. Yoga is an intervention that has been proven to make their everyday lives easier and their pain more manageable.
"We'd hope that on the back of this, more people with back pain are encouraged to take up the yoga programme."
The trial involved two groups of people who were identified as having chronic or recurrent back pain. A group of 156 people were offered group yoga classes specially designed to improve back function, while a second control group of 157 people received GP care alone.
Both groups received usual GP care, which could have involved, for example, referral to pain clinics and physiotherapists or prescription of painkillers.
The 12-week yoga programme was delivered by 12 experienced yoga teachers. It was designed by Alison Trewhela, an Iyengar Yoga teacher and Senior Practitioner in Yoga on the British Register of Complementary Practitioners, in collaboration with yoga teacher Anna Semlyen, a Back Care Advisor to the British Wheel of Yoga.
Alison Trewhela said: "GPs and commissioners are showing great interest in this yoga programme. Many consider it could be the primary treatment option because it offers long-term positive outcomes, as well as a multi-disciplinary combination of taught skills that suits the bio-psycho-social nature of the condition of chronic low back pain.
"Within its confidence-boosting, gradually-progressing environment, the gentle 'Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs' course addresses joint mobility, muscle-strengthening, emphasis on the breath, mental attitude to pain and perspective on life lessons, postural awareness and low back education, relaxation techniques, and advice about other potentially health-giving techniques and benefits."

WASHINGTON (AP) ? Congressman Paul Ryan's plan for Medicare gets all the attention, but the GOP vice presidential candidate has proposed even bigger changes to medical care for the poor and disabled.
The Wisconsin congressman is calling for states to take over the Medicaid program.
At the same time, Ryan's budget would reduce projected federal spending on Medicaid by about $800 billion over 10 years, shrinking the program as a share of the overall national economy.
Ryan is in sync with his new boss, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Advocates for the poor and nonpartisan analysts say cuts would result in millions of vulnerable people losing health insurance. Republicans say that won't happen if states can make the program more efficient.

PATERSON, N.J. (AP) ? A woman found behind a padlocked door inside a New Jersey apartment said the boyfriend accused of keeping her there for years is "a good man" who has never abused her.
Nancy Rodriguez Duran said the kidnapping case against 42-year-old Michael Mendez is a lie and that she asked him to padlock the bedroom door with her inside.
Speaking to reporters before Mendez appeared in court Tuesday, Duran said her boyfriend was going out last Thursday and she was worried about maintenance workers coming into their Paterson, N.J., apartment and seeing her in a nightgown.
A state police street gang unit searched the apartment for drugs that day and found the 44-year-old woman in the locked bedroom. Based on interviews and evidence, investigators believe she was kept in the room for extended periods of time for the last two years and possibly up to 10 years, state police spokesman acting Sgt. 1st Class Brian Polite said.
Mendez, who police say is a member of the Latin Kings street gang, was charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and other counts, including some related to the drugs officials said they were looking for in the first place.
He pleaded not guilty Tuesday and remains held on $1 million bail.
Investigators said the woman was sometimes let out of the room when Mendez was home.
A neighbor said Mendez was a familiar face around the three-story brick apartment complex. He said he often could be seen outside, polishing a car and listening to music.
The neighbor said he saw the woman a few times in recent years, though it was rare. The man, who refused to give his name because of worries over safety, said he remembered seeing the woman get into a car sometime in the last few years.
Neighbors on either side of Mendez's top-floor apartment said they weren't aware that another person lived in the apartment.
"I didn't see any woman," said a man who identified himself only as Buddy and opened his door only a few inches as he spoke. "This is the first I'm hearing of it."
A maintenance worker, who also declined to give his name because of concerns over his safety, remembered the woman "cussing me out one time when I was doing my work."
State police said they found 4,200 prescription pills valued at $100,000, 190 grams of marijuana valued at nearly $2,000 and nearly $23,000 in cash inside the apartment.
I had a briefing yesterday with BizSlate, a SaaS player that is launching its beta today to help all those small businesses growing so fast that Quicken just doesn't do the job. I like this company's spunk. It's founder, Marc Kalman, is super fired up. You cam see it in the app his team built. It reminds me of what SocialPandas Founder Mark Trang said to me last night in a briefing. What people need is time and space. Make a potion like that for a small business and you can almost see the magic spread.
The unending Kevin Pietersen Saga leave Graeme Smith guessing ? Cricket News Update
South African skipper, Graeme Smith, on Wednesday expressed his surprise at the coverage of the ongoing fiasco regarding England all-rounder Kevin Pietersen ahead of the third and final Test at Lord?s.
?I find it quite amazing that it's still going on and that it has reached this point. From our perspective it's just been so overboard really. I can't believe it's still carrying on,? said the Proteas skipper.
He clarified that although the issue was on everyone?s lips, the South African squad was focussed on the tour and aiming to win the series instead of getting involved in the matter.
?In our dressing room, it's something that's hardly been discussed - except the amount of time and coverage that it's getting,? Smith told.
Rubbishing reports that some South African players deliberately put KP?s allegedly derogatory texts in public domain, the South African skipper explained, ?I have personally seen nothing, I think the notion that we have tried to 'nail' Kevin or put things
out in the media is just ridiculous. I have never heard such a load of rubbish.?
He said that it was disappointing for his side to be dragged into the fiasco, when the tourists had no interest in the matter.
KP wrecked havoc in England cricket after his 149-run knock in the Leeds Test by expressing uncertainty at his international career in a controversial interview.
The all-rounder revealed that he did not enjoy a healthy relationship in with some players in the national team and also threw mud at the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). This did not go down well with the board officials, costing him a place in the
series finale.
However, the all-rounder his now apologized to the board officials in last ditch effort to regain his place in the Test squad.
In a previous interview, he also expressed his desire to play for England in all three formats of the game after he had given his retirement from ODIs back in May.
With England now going to Lord?s to salvage their cherished Test status without Pietersen, they would need a collective effort by every member of the squad to overpower the mighty South Africans. ?

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Nine Nobel Peace laureates, including retired South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu, on Monday called on television network NBC to cancel its "Stars Earn Stripes" reality show, calling it a bid to "sanitize war by likening it to an athletic competition."
The competition show, due to air for the first time on Monday evening, puts eight celebrities such as singer Nick Lachey and politician Sarah Palin's husband Todd, through military-style training, including helicopter drops and long-range weapons firing.
The celebrities are paired with former members of the U.S. Marines, Green Berets and other forces to compete for a cash prize that would go to a charity of their choice. Producers say the show, hosted by retired U.S. General Wesley Clark, will "pay homage to the men and women who serve in the U.S. armed forces."
In an open letter to NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt, the Nobel Prize winners said that "preparing for war is neither amusing nor entertaining."
"It is our belief that this program pays homage to no one anywhere and continues and expands on an inglorious tradition of glorifying war and armed violence.
"Real war is down in the dirt deadly. People ? military and civilians ? die in ways that are anything but entertaining," the letter said.
The Nobel-winning signatories called on NBC to "stop airing this program."
NBC rejected the assertion that "Stars Earn Stripes" glorifies war. "'Stars Earn Stripes' is about thanking the young Americans who are in harm's way every day. This show is not a glorification of war but a glorification of service," the network said in a statement.
Tutu, 80, won his Nobel in 1984 for efforts to end apartheid in South Africa. He was joined in the letter by American anti-landmines campaigner Jody Williams, Mairead Maguire and Betty Williams of Northern Ireland, former East Timor President Jose Manuel Ramos-Horta, Argentine artist Adolfo Perez Esquivel, Rigoberta Menchu Tum of Guatemala and Iranian lawyer Dr. Shirin Ebadi.
In addition to Palin and Lachey, the show's contestants include actors Dean Cain and Terry Crews, wrestler Eve Torres, television fitness trainer Dolvett Quince, former Olympic skier Picabo Street and boxer Laila Ali, daughter of former champion Muhammad Ali.

As enterprises grow and expand, there is the need for effective translation services. This is because, for any enterprise to succeed, it needs the wholehearted support of the customers. Customers would engage in brand advocacy if and only if they are happy with their experiences of a particular brand or enterprise.
With more than 6500 languages spoken in the world, global enterprises have a tough job at hand to provide trusted, rapid translations to expand their businesses. A global enterprise deals with huge chunks of content every day. And it is their responsibility to make the content available to its multilingual audience comprising of customers and employees in a format that can be easily read and understood.
Moreover, enterprises need to deal with colloquialism, idioms, slang, and jargon as what is acceptable in one language might not be acceptable in another language. For instance, take the case of certain product names that have to be marketed differently because of the lexical differences among languages. Calpis, a popular drink in Japan is marketed in North America, as Calpico as the word Calpis sounds a lot like ?cow piss?. In the same way, Irish Mist is not marketed in Germany because in German language, it means excrement. Since Mexicans are unable to pronounce the RC consonant cluster, RC Cola is called as ARCI Cola in Mexico.
For any enterprise, translation services are of paramount importance, as successful translation of content helps them in global expansion. With cost and speed being two of the primary concerns of enterprise translation projects, enterprises need automated language translation software that provides bilingual speakers with contextual translations of words and phrases rather than simpler, sentence-based translation systems. This lowers the cost of localization by as much as 50% while doubling the speed of translation. The translation software provides
* Terminology management functionality which maintains messaging consistency and accuracy
* Machine translation that can be used as a springboard for human polishing
* Translation memory which facilitates content recycling through successive projects
* The project management dashboard and real-time reporting that simplify team coordination
Hence, those enterprises looking to expand their market globally must invest in language translation software.
The Droid 4's update to Android 4.0 has been in the making for long enough that we'd started to wonder if someone in the QA department had a grudge against keyboards. Verizon just proved that there's still plenty of QWERTY love to go around by posting a document, and starting a soak test, that gives the OS upgrade a rubber stamp. Motorola's messaging phone is getting more than just a new software layer with this upgrade: the Android 4.0.4 release will switch on global roaming for those willing to pay Verizon for access abroad. Camera quality should get a quiet lift in the process, while the rest of the phone is getting a proper polish as well. Verizon hasn't mentioned just when we'll see that update notification flit past our screens, but the carrier's tendency to push updates days after notices like these could see Droid 4 owners treated to Android 4.0 well before August wraps up.
Update: Apparently, "soon" means "today" for Verizon: over-the-air updates should already be rolling out to Droid 4 owners as part of a phased process.
