Each year, a lot more men and women find out why around the world cruise is without a doubt the perfect getaway. A cruise liner is simply your large buffet of great experiences, with a wide range of foods as well as cultures, things to do in the sun as well as spas to pamper your every single indulgence, getaways to spectacular locales and a million ways to relax. You could do it all or do absolutely nothing ? the choice is yours.

A few other world travel cruise trips have special deals, transportation services, hotel accommodations, exceptional cocktail celebrations, per-paid gratuities, and even more. The cabin class along with the length of the world cruise may qualify you for more amenities.

The history of cruising is as interesting as the amazing cruising experience. According to an English shipping business, the very first recorded cruise in history dates back in 1881 in a passenger ship named Ceylon. This was the very first real cruise in which vacationers cruise from place to place looking for adventure. As immigration starts to fall and jet planes supplanted the service of the majority of ships, cruise ships came as a solution for the dwindling number of passengers, converting them into pleasure trip vessels for leisure functions. This is where cruise liners started to prosper. The greatest known passenger ship ever documented in the history has an overall length of 360 meters or 1,181 ft. The ship is so huge and weighs around 100,000 tons, similar to that of a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. It features a theater for 1,380 individuals, a dance hall (2-deck), as well as ice skating rink.

Generally, a full around the world cruise itinerary is merely over a hundred days in length, normally starting in January. For individuals who have a preference for something a lot less than the full cruise, each voyage is available in shorter segments, any of which are likewise a special experience. For those guests booking a full world cruise, every single cruise line provides major special advantages. These rewards could include first class air upgrades, private car transfers, and shipboard credits. Around the world cruises used to average 100 days for $100,000. Even that cost is 60% less expensive than the personal jet options on a per diem basis. But around the world cruises also extend your getaway experience by ten weeks; yet again by 60%. Not only that, but you travel in a lot more comfort, go to a lot more places, and you only need to unpack once.

On an around the world cruise, you go at a slower pace. You?ve got more time to relish things. And because they are in a relatively safe and secure environment, flanked by the same roster of close friends and well-known employees, a lot of travelers feel free to indulge in a more glamorous version of their usual selves. Women carry furs, evening gowns, as well as jewelry usually consigned to safe-deposit boxes. A few couples, allegedly, bring so much stuff that they book a second cabin in order to store it all. So, in case you?ve got the money and time, cruising all around the world would be the best travel experience.

Around The World Cruises from numerous cruise companies have their own specific style and could offer options that are unique to them. Whatever criteria exist, how you choose your Around The World Cruise means making decisions that would give you your trip of a lifetime.

EU official: Greece needs extra euro15 billion (AP)

BRUSSELS ? Greece's international debt inspectors have discovered that the debt-ridden country still needs an extra euro15 billion ($20 billion) in help ? on top of a promised euro130 billion bailout and a euro100 billion debt relief from private investors, a European official said Thursday.

The European Commission, the executive arm of the European Union, has asked the other 16 countries that also use the euro to help foot the bill for the missing euro15 billion, the official said, indicating that a limit has been reached of what can be achieved by Athens implementing further cuts and private investors taking losses on the bonds they hold in the country.

The gap could be filled either though more help from eurozone governments or by eurozone central banks or state-owned banks like France's Caisse de Depots taking a cut on their Greek bondholdings, the official said. He was speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

The new push for Greece's public and government creditors to take a cut on their investments ? dubbed the official sector involvement, or OSI ? is a new front in the battle to save the country from a potentially devastating default. So far the eurozone and the International Monetary Fund have given billions in bailout loans to the struggling country, but they haven't been asked to take losses.

The official added that a related deal with private creditors to take losses on their holdings has to be announced before the end of the week, adding that experts from national finance ministries will discuss the tentative deal on Friday.

People familiar with the talks on so-called private sector involvement ? or PSI ? have said that the deal would see investors take losses of more than 70 percent through a 50 per cent cut in the value of the bonds, a lower interest rate of between 3.5 per cent and 4.5 per cent on the bond and more time to pay back the debt.

Analysts estimate that the European Central Bank holds euro50 billion to euro55 billion in Greek bonds. The majority of these bonds were bought at a discount by the ECB, with the idea that the central bank would up give up any profits it may get on these holdings. However, the ECB has so far given no indication that it is willing to do so, with some of its governing board members saying that forgoing profits would clash with the bank's ban on funding national governments.

If eurozone states are unwilling to boost their bailout loans beyond euro130 billion, some relief for Greece could be achieved by further lowering interest rates on these loans.

U.S. shuts 16 sports piracy websites pre-Super Bowl (Reuters)

(Reuters) ? Three days before Super Bowl XLVI, U.S. prosecutors said they seized 16 websites that illegally streamed live sports and pay-per-view events over the Internet, and charged a Michigan man with running nine of those websites.

According to the government, the 16 websites provided links to give viewers easy access to other sites that hosted pirated telecasts from the National Football League, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League, World Wrestling Entertainment Inc ("WWE") and TNA Impact Wrestling. The latter is also broadcast on Viacom Inc's Spike TV.

Prosecutors said such piracy costs leagues and broadcasters millions of dollars a year, and some of this cost is passed on to ticket buyers and sports network subscribers.

"These websites and their operators deprive sports leagues and networks of legitimate revenue" in what amounts to "virtual thievery," said U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara in Manhattan, who announced the website seizures.

The websites are firstrow.tv, firstrowsports.com, firstrowsports.net, firstrowsports.tv, hq-streams.tv, robplay.tv, soccertvlive.net, sports95.com, sports95.net, sports95.org, sportswwe.net, sportswwe.tv, sportswwe.com, xonesports.tv, youwwe.com and youwwe.net.

As prosecutors announced the seizure on Thursday, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, expected to start in Sunday's Super Bowl against the New York Giants, admitted to reporters his own use of an illegal website.

"Last year, you know, I was rehabbing my foot, you know, in Costa Rica, watching the game on an illegal Super Bowl website," he said in a video posted Thursday on the NFL website. "And now I'm actually playing in the game. So it's pretty cool."

"MAKE A DEAL"

The defendant charged in the case is Yonjo Quiroa, 28, who faces one count of criminal infringement of a copyright.

Prosecutors said Quiroa, also known as Ronaldo Solano, operated his websites from his home in Comstock Park, Michigan, prior to his Wednesday arrest, receiving at least $13,000 from online merchants who advertised with him.

Lawrence Phelan, a lawyer for the defendant, said Quiroa was in federal custody and expected to be transferred to New York, after having appeared on Wednesday in a Grand Rapids, Michigan federal court. Phelan declined to comment on the case.

The complaint against Quiroa outlines his alleged piracy efforts from February 2010 to January 2012.

It concludes by saying a U.S. Department of Homeland Security enforcement agent posing as a WWE representative last week offered to buy various domain names associated with the defendant, and received a response offering to "make a deal."

Prosecutors will seek the forfeiture of the domain names for the 16 seized websites.

The government had announced the seizure of 10 other websites said to pirate sports events exactly one year ago, shortly before Super Bowl XLV. [ID:nN02241115]

The case is U.S. v. Quiroa, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, No. 12-mag-00241.

Officials investigating Illinois reactor shutdown (AP)

CHICAGO ? Officials are investigating the events surrounding a power failure at a nuclear reactor in northern Illinois, but believe they may have traced the cause to a piece of equipment at a switchyard.

After the shutdown Monday morning at Exelon Nuclear's Byron Generating Station, operators began releasing steam to cool the reactor from the part of the plant where turbines produce electricity, not from within the nuclear reactor itself, officials said. The steam contains low levels of tritium, a radioactive form of hydrogen, but federal and plant officials insisted the levels were safe for workers and the public.

Exelon Nuclear officials believe a failed piece of equipment at a switchyard at the plant about 95 miles northwest of Chicago caused the shutdown, but they were still investigating an exact cause. The switchyard is similar to a large substation that delivers power to the plant from the electrical grid and from the plant to the electrical grid.

Diesel generators were supplying the reactor with electricity, though it hasn't been generating power during the investigation into what happened. One question is why smoke was seen from an onsite station transformer, though no evidence of a fire was found when the plant's fire brigade responded, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission spokeswoman Viktoria Mitlyng said.

The commission declared the incident an "unusual event," the lowest of four levels of emergency. Commission officials also said the release of tritium was expected.

Mitlyng said officials can't yet calculate how much tritium was released. They know the amounts were small because monitors around the plant didn't show increased levels of radiation, she said.

Tritium molecules are so microscopic that small amounts are able to pass from radioactive steam that originates in the reactor through tubing and into the water used to cool turbines and other equipment outside the reactor, Mitlyng said. The steam that was being released was coming from the turbine side.

Tritium is relatively short-lived and penetrates the body weakly through the air compared to other radioactive contaminants.

Releasing steam helps "take away some of that energy still being produced by nuclear reaction but that doesn't have anywhere to go now," Mitlyng said. Even though the turbine is not turning to produce electricity, she said, "you still need to cool the equipment."

Candace Humphrey, Ogle County's emergency management coordinator, said county officials were notified of the incident as soon as it happened and that public safety was never in danger.

"It was standard procedure that they would notify county officials," she said. "There is always concern. But, it never crossed my mind that there was any danger to the people of Ogle County."

Another reactor at the plant was operating normally.

In March 2008, federal officials said they were investigating a problem with electrical transformers at the plant after outside power to a unit was interrupted.

In an unrelated issue last April, the commission said it was conducting special inspections of backup water pumps at the Byron and Braidwood generating stations after the agency's inspectors raised concerns about whether the pumps would be able to cool the reactors if the normal system wasn't working. The plants' operator, Exelon Corp., initially said the pumps would work but later concluded they wouldn't.
